Meeting with Rector

On 30 May 2014 the Rector of the East European University met the students. During the meeting, there was discussed the currend situation in the EEU, the upwoming changes, innovations and recent projects. In particular:

1. The infrastructure of the Unversity has been developed: 400 books have been added to the library. There was made a  pedestrian path and lighting from D.Guramishvili Avenue to the EEU,moreover, the third floor of the EEU had been repaired and will be launched by September;

2. The mandatory minimum margin for the tests has been changed upon the request of the students;

3. The accreditation process for several programmes have been completed and there will be added 5 new programmes:

  1. LLM
  2. Master of Business Administration Program
  3. Master's degree program in management education and research;
  4. Human Resources Management Graduate Program;
  5. The English-language Bachelor's Program in Business Administration;

4. The partnr companies of the University has been increased up to 50;
6. 2 distinguished students from the Faculty of Business continues learning in the School of Business and Finanses of London from September.
5. Successful students internships in various partner organizations and future internships o students from September in Public and Private Sector
7. University Career Service Centre from the next year.


The meeting was interactive and each and every student had possibility to ask or make a comment about the concerning issues. There were asked lots of questions and all of them were responded by the Administration. Students also had possibility to express their thoughts about the current events. Moreover, students had possibility to express theur opinions anonymously in the survey sheets. 
At the end, 6 wineer students of the University Olimpics were awarded by prizes. The prizes was delivered by the Director of the Sentre of Skills Development Mr Vladimer Tukhareli.

The University administration plans to held similar meeting in the future as well.
