The Ambasador of Czech Republic in Georgia and the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic for Science, Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Committee visited EEU!
On May 14, the East European University hosted Czech delegation in Georgia. In particular, the Head of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic for Science, Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Committee - Zhiri Zlatushka and other committee members, The Ambassadros ot the Czech Republic to Georgia - Thomas Pernitski and his Deputy - Veronica Sido.
The meeting was focused on the future prospects of cooperation of EEU and the leading universities of the Czech Republic, as well as the joint programmes where the students of EEU should get financial aid from the Czech republic.
The guests visited the infrastructure of the university, get introduced to the programmes of the EEU and expressed will to finance excellent students of EEU through the joint programmes in order to study in Czech Republic.
EEU held a memorandum with the Republic Hospital of Georgia.
On 23 June 2014 EEU held a memorandum with the Republic Hospital of Georgia. In the scope of the memorandum, the students of EEU can get free insurance in the Republic Hospital.
The memorandum was signed by the Rector of EEU, Mr. David Cherkezishvili and the General Director of the Republic Hospital, Mr. Avtandil Imedadze.
Under the memorandum, each student of EEU would have a unique chance to enjoy the highest quality of medical service, to get advice from qualified doctors, to undergo diagnostic tests and treatments using modern medical equipments.

On may 6 EEU hosted the Week of Europe events. In the scope of the event there was opened the Corrner of NATO and EU, Diplomatic Alley was cultivated and there was held the presentation of the Human Rights book "Compass". The event was organized by East European University in a full cooperation with the Children and Youth Development Fund of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs of Georgia.
The event was attended by the Minister of Sports and Youth of Georgia Mr. Levan Kipiani, the Minister of Georgian Eurointegration Mr. Aleksi Petriashvili, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education of Georgia Mr. Giorgi Shervashidze, the Deputy Head of the representation of European Union in Georgia, the Ambassadors of Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, Poland and Duputy Defence Attache of France, NGOs and International organizations, representatives of civil sector, the professors and students of the university.
